Crabapples
A mural created for one of the four stairwells in the Nouvelle Maison de Radio-Canada. This project was produced and made possible by the incredible team at MU.
The theme is inspired by our four seasons and their seasonal trees. I had the pleasure of illustrating crabapple trees in full bloom for the staircase on the north side of the building.
Once the parachute canvases are complete, the team at MU are tasked with gluing each painted panel across a total of eight different areas. The parts leading down to the basement are depicted as roots growing from the tree.
Extra illustrations were added to door frames to give a heads up for each stairwell.
A big thank you to everyone involved at MU, the muralists on this project and each artist invited for their support, hard work and expertise.
